Hoop-Frame UX research

The Q-Zone Hoop-Frame revolutionized the quilting industry. It opened up a new type of quilting to a large new section of the audience.

I created a comprehensive document describing the target audience, and their journey as they learned about the product and what would lead them to purchase it. I created two personas and  highlighted their frustrations and needs. I detailed the competition, and how this product would stand out and how it would make the customer’s experience better.

From this document and other customer research we had done, I directed the creation of a customer journey map. This was a great way to visualize a customer’s experience and how they were feeling and what they were thinking at any point in their process as the researched and purchased the product.
