I am a goal-oriented graphic designer using design to visually communicate, solve problems, and achieve results. It’s way more than just making things look good.
I graduated in 2009 from Utah Valley University with a BFA in graphic design. Since then I’ve worked at a small design firm (Think Box Design Marketing), and taken on work with various clients as a freelance designer, but mostly worked as an in-house senior designer and marketing manager for the Grace Company, where I’ve been for 10 years now.
I’ve been fortunate to have experiences that allowed me to learn and grow in areas that far outreach even the great education I received at UVU. At the Grace Company I got to “wear many hats” becoming proficient in areas like web design, product photography, video creation and audio editing, just to name a few.
Through it all, I’ve seen reaffirmed again and again that design is a tool best utilized when it sets out to reach clear goals. I enjoy being able to measure the success of my projects with metrics like: increased sales, increased engaged customers, creating buzz around a new product, and others.
